Last Day

On Wednesday, we went to an antiques fair with a friend and then ran around to a bunch of stores and museums that we didn't want to miss. After Dolpa, I decide to leave the kids at the ryokan to give us all a rest.

Luckily, our flight wasn't until 4pm on Thursday, so we took advantage of the morning by going to Akihabara for the Kanda Shrine...and one more Volks store. Across the street from the shrine, we found an rather rundown playground and let the little boys get some exercise before the long flight home.

Megumi: Wee! Come push us, Mommy!
Me: I don't want to disturb the poor kitty's breakfast, boys.

Not quite as cute as pandas.

Momiji: Yay! I'm on a dolphin!

Megumi: What the heck kind of bird is this?

And thus ended our second Volks tour of Japan. If at all possible, we'll be back for the winter Dolpa, but better funded and prepared this time.
